In 2006, he joined Abbott India Ltd. as a Territory Business Developer (TBD) and worked for 3 years. He was then promoted to the role of Field Therapy Manager, where he focused on creating awareness about Thyroid and Diabetes Therapy. He excelled in this role for one year. In 2010, Sanjay achieved his 2nd promotion within Abbott as a Therapy Manager. In this position, he was responsible for developing strategies and supporting the Activation Team in converting camps to the Clinic Model. He also oversaw corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and monitored progress on a pan-India level. In December 2012, Sanjay received his 3rd promotion as a Product Manager at Abbott. In this role, he was responsible for managing the Diabetes portfolio, OBIMET franchise on a pan-India scale. He successfully executed brand strategies and implemented marketing campaigns to drive brand growth. In 2016, Sanjay attained his 4th promotion as a Business Compliance Manager, where he ensured adherence to regulatory and compliance standards within the organization. In 2018, Sanjay became a Group Product Manager, specializing in planning and strategizing for Epilepsy Therapy. In 2021, Sanjay achieved his 5th promotion as the Marketing Planning Manager, where he took on the responsibility of managing the Epilepsy portfolio Eptoin, and the Vertigo portfolio Vertin. In this role, he played a crucial role in developing marketing strategies, planning campaigns, and executing initiatives to drive growth and market penetration for these product lines. Currently, Sanjay holds the position of Head of Marketing at BSV.
