IIT Alum / CEO of Finrep AI
Founder and CEO at Finrep AI
About
I am the Founder and CEO of Finrep AI, where we are building an AI co-pilot specifically for financial reporting teams. My career has been a journey through the technical and the strategic—from building supply-side products from scratch at SIXT to investing in early-stage SaaS at Accel. With a background in Applied Mathematics from IIT Roorkee, I’ve developed a deep focus on the intersection of technical accounting and AI-native product design. I’m passionate about transforming how finance teams handle SEC reporting, moving away from simple automation toward a model where AI acts as a teammate that connects judgment with fragmented evidence. I’m always looking to connect with SEC reporting leads, CFOs, and technical accountants who are interested in improving disclosure accuracy and owning the evidence behind their filings.

Opinions
- AI in financial reporting should be a teammate that connects judgment with evidence, not just a writing tool.
- In SEC reporting, the ability to defend a disclosure with citations is more critical than drafting speed.
- The only true defense for a startup against giants is moving at an exemplary pace.
- Accounting results are decided by the substance of settlement paths rather than legal labels.
