George “Conscious” Lee
Director of Influencer Marketing and Educator at George Lee Speaks LLC; Social Media Creative Partner at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center/HVTN
About
I'm George “Conscious” Lee, an educator and digital creator dedicated to bridging the gap between academic theory and everyday consciousness. Currently, I serve as the Director of Influencer Marketing at George Lee Speaks LLC and a Social Media Creative Partner for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. My journey began in the world of competitive policy debate and higher education, where I served as an Adjunct Professor and Director of Policy Debate at the University of Oklahoma. I am passionate about using 'educational entertainment' to explore Critical Race Theory, Afrofuturism, and systemic equity. With a community of over 3 million followers, my goal is to be purposefully provocative to inspire real transformation. Whether through my work with 'Conscious University' or high-impact speaking, I offer a unique ability to translate complex power dynamics into engaging digital narratives. I’m looking to connect with those interested in social justice, media theory, and the intersection of art and resistance.

Opinions
- You cannot change what you don’t know needs to be changed.
- Being 'purposefully provocative' is necessary to inspire transformation.
- Art is a tool for disruption and a mirror to reality, though its commodification by institutions must be critiqued.
