Cameron Hedrick
Founder, Hedrick Advisory
Advising boards and senior executives on the intersection of leadership, culture, and pragmatic AI adoption.
Intro
I’m Cameron Hedrick, the Founder of Hedrick Advisory and a former Managing Director at Citi, where I served as Head of Learning & Culture. My career has been dedicated to architecting possibilities within large-scale organizations, managing HR for populations of up to 45,000 and leading global cultural transformations. Currently, I focus on helping boards, senior executives, and investors navigate the intersection of leadership and AI. I am deeply passionate about 'mixed-intelligence'—the idea that AI should expand human judgment rather than replace it. I believe we are moving from an era of execution to one of authorship, and I work to ensure organizations are ready for this shift. Whether I'm sharing frameworks on my Substack or facilitating difficult executive conversations, my goal is to provide the systems-level clarity needed to bridge the gap between human talent and intelligent systems.

Opinions
- Human value is shifting from execution to authorship.
- The cost of standing still in the AI era now exceeds the cost of moving imperfectly.
- Removing routine work via AI creates a developmental gap in professional wisdom that must be intentionally filled.
- Organizations should not have separate AI and Human strategies, but a single mixed-intelligence approach.
